I am proud to say that Sambrook Bears have been featured by the UK's top selling teddy bear magazine, "Teddybear Club International" and another wonderful magazine "Teddy Bear Scene and Other Furry Friends" and can I tell you, that there is nothing more satisfying for an artist than to see his or her work captured in full glossy colour between the pages of such highly respected publications.In 2006 I was a finalist in the British Bear Artist Awards with a miniature blue and white panda called Panda Pops. This bear was made from a gorgeous and unusual string mohair with delicate gold threads running through.
It was amazing to realize that one of my bears had been chosen from amongst so many fabulous creations, made by some truly talented artists. In September 2007 I exhibited my bears at Hugglets "Teddies 2007" in Kensington, London.
We had a wonderful day with many bears finding exciting new homes and a large order from Hamleys of London!
I'll be returning to Hugglets on 14th September for "Teddies 2008" and I hope to see you there!
